Yalumba Samuel's Collection Eden Valley Roussanne 2025

Yalumba Samuel's Collection Eden Valley Roussanne is a layered, aromatic white with a fresh saline edge.

Better known in France's Rhône Valley, Roussanne is a late-ripening white grape prized for its texture and ability to age. In Eden Valley's higher vineyards it keeps good natural acidity while building weight, and it fits comfortably alongside the Viognier the region is known for. The 2025 wine is pale gold with green tints, opening with white and wild flowers, chamomile and loquat over a river-stone minerality. Vine leaf and white pepper follow on the palate, carried by gentle texture and a hint of sea spray.

Enjoy it at 10 to 12 degrees with grilled whiting, a fennel and citrus salad or soft goat's cheese. Drink over the next three or four years.
