Yalumba Samuel's Collection Eden Valley Viognier 2025

Yalumba Samuel's Collection Eden Valley Viognier is a textured, aromatic white from the winery that pioneered Viognier in Australia.

Samuel Smith founded Yalumba at Angaston in 1849, and the family-owned winery named the Samuel's Collection in his honour. Yalumba has grown Viognier in the Eden Valley since 1980, long before the variety was widely known in Australia, and has decades of experience with it in the vineyard and winery. This wine draws on several blocks across a handful of Eden Valley vineyards. There, elevation and cool nights help the grape keep its freshness alongside its naturally rich, silky texture.

Serve chilled, at around 8 to 10 degrees, with slow-cooked lamb and saffron rice, roasted cauliflower, Moroccan chicken or baba ganoush. It's lovely young and will hold for a few years.
