Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 2023

Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz is the family winery's celebrated Barossa blend, made every year since 1962.

Each release carries the name and signature of someone who has helped shape the business, from family members to long-serving staff, making it as much a tribute as a wine. Cabernet Sauvignon gives the backbone and Shiraz the richness, a blend well suited to the Barossa's warm, generous fruit. After a cool and slow season, this 2023 is stylish and elegant, showing cassis, dark chocolate, black cherry and a savoury hint of olive, with florals, sage and liquorice emerging over time. Coffee, blue fruit and spice line the beautifully structured palate.

Serve at around 17 to 18 degrees, ideally decanted an hour ahead, with roast beef, lamb rack or a mushroom and walnut pie. It has a long life ahead in the cellar.
