Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 3L 2023

Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 3L is a double-magnum bottling of one of Australia's longest-running icon blends.

The Signature was first made in 1962, and every vintage since has been dedicated to a person who has made a contribution to the company, with their signature on the label. It is a Barossa blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, the classic Australian pairing, matured in oak and built to age. The cool, late 2023 vintage gave a scarlet wine with classic aromatics of blackcurrant, black cherry, dark chocolate and olive tapenade, with florals, sage and liquorice as it opens. Coffee, blue fruits and spice layer the palate over long, flowing tannins.

Designed for a crowd, this bottle holds as much as four standard bottles. Decant well before serving at 17 to 18 degrees, and pair with a slow-roasted leg of lamb or a whole scotch fillet. It will cellar for decades.
