Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz Museum Release 2015

Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz Museum Release is a mature bottling of the famous Barossa blend, held back to develop in the winery's cellars.

More than six decades of Signature vintages have made this one of Australia's great collectable reds, with every release dedicated to an individual important to the Angaston winery. Museum releases like this one are cellared at the winery before they come to market. The 2015 shows deep, exotic aromas of red and blue fruits, currants and wild cherries, with eucalypt notes. The palate has depth and structure, a generous, fleshy middle and warm, lingering spice, and it is still developing.

Decant off any sediment and serve at around 17 degrees. It pairs well with slow-roasted lamb, beef bourguignon or hard aged cheeses. Enjoy now or keep for a few more years.
