Yalumba Vine Vale Grenache 2025

Yalumba Vine Vale Grenache is a perfumed, finely detailed Grenache from one of the Barossa's historic Grenache districts.

The sandy soils of Vine Vale suit Grenache, producing wines with perfume and fine tannins. In 2025 two blocks were picked and wild fermented together, including 20% whole bunches. The nose is intense, with pomegranate, strawberry leaf and fresh raspberry, layered with wet river stone, roasted coriander seed and bay leaf. Pure red fruit drives the palate, with a silky, flowing texture and gentle viscosity balanced by mouthwatering acidity. It leans toward finesse and perfume while keeping the warmth and generosity of Barossa Grenache.

Chill it slightly before serving and enjoy with chargrilled octopus, lamb meatballs in tomato or a beetroot and goat's cheese salad. It's delicious young.
