Yalumba Y Series Merlot 2022

Yalumba Y Series Merlot is a soft, round and youthful South Australian Merlot for everyday drinking.

Yalumba's story began in 1849 when Samuel Smith planted vines at Angaston, on the edge of the Barossa. The family still runs the business today, and the Y Series is where it makes fruit-forward, vegan-friendly wines for everyday enjoyment. Merlot suits the brief well: grown in South Australian vineyards, it gives a generous, succulent palate with juicy fruit and a hint of exotic spice, while soft tannins keep it smooth and easy. At 14% alcohol it has a little extra warmth and fullness.

Serve at around 16 degrees with spaghetti bolognese, roast pork, mushroom pizza or a simple cheese platter. Enjoy it while it's young and fruity.
