Description

Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese Rosé is a light, bright and dry rosé made from the Italian grape Sangiovese.

Sangiovese, the red grape of Tuscany, has taken well to South Australia's warm, dry climate, and its crunchy red fruit and natural acidity make it an excellent base for rosé. Yalumba, founded at Angaston in 1849 and still family-owned, uses it to make a pale, dry style in the Y Series range. Pretty floral and berry aromas leap from the glass, and the palate is light and fresh. At 11% alcohol it's an easy, refreshing drop, and like the rest of the range it's vegan-friendly.

Serve well chilled. Enjoy it with a picnic spread, pizza bianca, prawn skewers or a watermelon and feta salad.
