Description

Yalumba Y Series Tempranillo is a lively, unoaked South Australian Tempranillo packed with fresh berry fruit.

Tempranillo is Spain's great red grape, and it has found a comfortable home in South Australia's warm, dry climate. Yalumba, the family winery founded at Angaston in 1849, makes this Y Series version in a youthful style without oak, so the fruit takes centre stage. The palate is silky and juicy, full of fresh berry flavours, with a moreish finish and a hint of mocha in the tannins. It is vegan-friendly, like all Y Series wines.

Serve at around 15 to 17 degrees with tapas, chorizo, paella, lamb skewers or a smoky barbecue.
