Yangarra Estate Circle Field Blend 2024

Yangarra Estate Circle Field Blend is co-fermented from several Rhône varieties picked and pressed together.

A field blend is harvested as one crop rather than variety by variety, the way vineyards were planted before single-variety labelling took hold, and it forces the winemaker to pick when the block as a whole is ready. Yangarra's Blewitt Springs plantings of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre suit the approach. The estate is certified biodynamic; fermentation is with native yeast and ageing in old oak and ceramic.

Serve slightly cool at 16 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken or grilled lamb. Drink over the next six years.
