Description

Yangarra Estate Roussanne is a medium-bodied white from McLaren Vale.

Yangarra farms a single property on the Blewitt Springs sands in the north-east of McLaren Vale, certified organic and biodynamic, and has built its range almost entirely around Rhône varieties. Roussanne is the harder of the two classic Rhône whites to grow, ripening late and unevenly, but on this sandy ground it keeps its acidity and builds texture rather than weight.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast chicken, pork belly or a soft cheese. Drink over the next six years.
