Yangarra Estate Vineyard Blanc 2023

Yangarra Estate Vineyard Blanc is a southern Rhône white blend led by Grenache Blanc, from the biodynamic estate at Blewitt Springs.

The blend draws on Grenache Blanc with Roussanne, Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Gris and Piquepoul Blanc, the white varieties permitted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which Yangarra imported and planted because they suit a warm, dry McLaren Vale far better than the grapes the region grew in the 1990s. The estate sits on the ancient North Maslin sands at Blewitt Springs, is certified biodynamic, and is planted exclusively to Rhône varieties. The wine is made with a light hand, with native yeast and no new oak.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast chicken, pork or a creamy pasta. Drink over the next six years.
