Yangarra Ironheart Shiraz 1.5L MAGNUM 2020

Yangarra Ironheart Shiraz comes from a single block of ironstone-rich soil on the estate at Blewitt Springs.

Most of Yangarra sits on deep sand, but the Ironheart block has a seam of ironstone under it, which holds water and gives Shiraz a darker, firmer character than the estate's other reds. The estate bottles it separately for that reason. The estate is certified biodynamic, and the wine is fermented with native yeast and matured in French oak, a portion of it new.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with aged beef, venison or hard cheese. It develops over fifteen years.
