Yangarra King's Wood Shiraz 2024

Yangarra King's Wood Shiraz is a single-block bottling from the estate's biodynamic vineyards at Blewitt Springs.

King's Wood takes its name from a stand of native trees on the property, which Yangarra has revegetated as part of its biodynamic and conservation work. The block's sand over clay gives Shiraz the perfume and medium weight that mark McLaren Vale's higher, sandier ground. Fermentation is with native yeast and ageing in older oak rather than new barrels.

Serve at 16 degrees with grilled lamb, beef or a rich vegetable dish. Drink over the next ten years.
