Yangarra Old Vine Grenache 1.5L MAGNUM 2023

Yangarra Old Vine Grenache is made from bush vines planted in 1946 on the estate's sandy soils.

Old dry-grown Grenache bush vines are one of Australia's real inheritances, protected from phylloxera and never irrigated, and the ones at Blewitt Springs yield tiny crops of small berries. The estate is certified biodynamic, shaped over twenty-five years by the late Peter Fraser. Fruit is hand-picked, fermented with whole bunches and native yeast, and matured in ceramic eggs and older oak so nothing covers the fruit.

Serve slightly cool at 16 degrees with roast lamb, charcuterie or mushroom risotto. It develops over twelve years.
