Yangarra Roussanne 2014

Yangarra Roussanne is an older release of the estate's white from the Rhône variety, now with bottle age.

Roussanne can age in a way most Australian whites do not, taking on honey and nut character after a decade while keeping its acidity, and a release like this shows what the variety does with time. The fruit came from the biodynamic estate vineyards on the Blewitt Springs sands, fermented with native yeast and matured without new oak.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast poultry, mushroom dishes or hard cheese. Drinking well now.
