Zalto Beer Glass 2 Pack

A tapered beer glass in thin crystal, which makes more difference to a cold beer than most people expect.

Zalto Glas is a family glassworks in Austria's Kremstal, where every piece is mouth-blown by hand and made without lead, the bowls angled to 24, 48 and 72 degrees after the tilt of the earth. Fine glassware is not the preserve of wine, and this is the piece that demonstrates it. The bowl tapers towards the rim, so a head has a defined space to form and hold rather than spreading and falling away, and the aromatics are kept above the surface where the drinker will meet them. Thin, mouth-blown walls mean less glass between hand and beer and a rim fine enough not to interrupt the first mouthful. The stem keeps the warmth of the hand away from the body of the glass, which matters more with a cold drink than with a warm room temperature one.

It handles any beer, from a light lager through to something dark and bitter; supplied as a two pack. Hand-wash in warm water without detergent and dry with a lint-free cloth.
