Zalto Digestive Glass 2 Pack

A slim, tapered spirit glass, made so that a small measure gives up its bouquet rather than its heat.

Zalto Glas is a family glassworks in Austria's Kremstal, where every piece is mouth-blown by hand and made without lead, the bowls angled to 24, 48 and 72 degrees after the tilt of the earth. The Digestive is the narrowest shape in the range, and the taper is the reason to own it. The bowl draws in towards the rim, so a modest pour sits under a small opening and the aromatics are collected and delivered in a line instead of scattering. With fine, elegant spirits that means the floral, fruity and delicate notes come through first, with the alcohol kept in its place behind them. Everything else follows the house pattern: mouth-blown walls that stay thin to the lip, a stem long enough to keep the hand away from the bowl, and no ornament anywhere on the piece.

Pour aquavit, eau de vie and other fine spirits into it; supplied as a two pack. Hand-wash in warm water without detergent and dry with a lint-free cloth.
