Zalto Water Glass 2 Pack

Zalto Glas is a family glassworks in Austria's Kremstal, where every piece is mouth-blown by hand and made without lead, the bowls angled to 24, 48 and 72 degrees after the tilt of the earth. This shape was crafted for water and non-alcoholic drinks, but its closeness to the wine bowls makes it a genuinely useful all-rounder. There is room to swirl, and the rim turns in far enough to hold aroma above the surface, so it stands in well as a neutral tasting glass when a single shape has to cover a range of drinks. Beer suits it too: the taper gives a head somewhere to sit and keeps the aromatics in front of the drinker. Thin walls and a fine rim make it feel like part of the range rather than an afterthought beside it.

Pour water, soft drinks and beer into it, or use it for all-round tasting; supplied as a two pack. Hand-wash in warm water without detergent and dry with a lint-free cloth.
