Zalto Water Glass 6 Pack

A stemmed water glass cut to the same lines as Zalto's wine shapes, which is what makes it such a capable all-rounder.

Zalto Glas is a family glassworks in Austria's Kremstal, where every piece is mouth-blown by hand and made without lead, the bowls angled to 24, 48 and 72 degrees after the tilt of the earth. This one was crafted for water and non-alcoholic drinks, but its likeness to the wine stems is the useful part. The bowl carries enough volume to swirl properly and the rim turns in just far enough to hold aroma over the surface, so it works as a neutral tasting glass when one shape has to serve a whole flight. The same proportions suit beer, giving a head somewhere to settle and keeping the aromatics in front of the drinker rather than letting them off. Thin walls and a light, even stem make it comfortable to hold through a long table.

Use it for water, soft drinks and beer, or as an all-round tasting glass; supplied as a six pack. Hand-wash in warm water without detergent and dry with a lint-free cloth.
