Zalto Water Glass Single Pack

A single water glass drawn on the same lines as Zalto's wine stems, which is what makes it so useful.

Zalto Glas is a family glassworks in Austria's Kremstal, where every piece is mouth-blown by hand and made without lead, the bowls angled to 24, 48 and 72 degrees after the tilt of the earth. The shape was crafted for water and non-alcoholic drinks, but its resemblance to the wine bowls is the practical part. There is room to swirl, and the rim turns in far enough to keep aroma above the surface, so it stands in as a neutral tasting glass whenever one shape has to cover a range of drinks. It is also very good for beer, where the same proportions give a head somewhere to settle and hold the aromatics in front of the drinker. Thin mouth-blown walls and a fine rim mean it belongs with the wine stems rather than sitting awkwardly beside them.

Pour water, soft drinks or beer into it, or use it as an all-round tasting glass; supplied as a single glass. Hand-wash in warm water without detergent and dry with a lint-free cloth.
